Bhutan Culture & Nature Escape
Valley walks, village stops and a full day in Phobjikha.
From $2,430 per adult

Getting to Bhutan from Canada takes two long flights: one to Delhi, Bangkok or Singapore, then Drukair or Bhutan Airlines to Paro. Plan the Paro leg first and leave time to recover from the journey before the first day of sightseeing.
Only Drukair and Bhutan Airlines fly into Paro, so you'll reach a hub on a long-haul carrier and connect there. From Toronto, Delhi is usually the most direct hub; from Vancouver, Bangkok or Singapore. Paro flights are usually on a separate ticket and can be delayed by mountain weather, so build in a night in the hub city on the way out.
$40 USD (one-time, non-refundable)
Canadian passport holders need an approved tourist visa before travel. We apply for it online as part of your booking, and you get the visa stamped on arrival at Paro.
Full visa requirements$100 USD per adult per night through Aug 31, 2027 (concession rate)
Currently $100 USD per adult per night (concession rate through Aug 31, 2027), included in our standard package total. A 7-day, 6-night trip pays $600 SDF per adult. Children 6–11 pay $50/night; under-6s are waived.
SDF explained in fullSeptember–November is the best time, with dry weather, clear Himalayan views and the autumn festivals. April–May is the spring alternative, with rhododendrons in bloom. Both are good escapes from a Canadian shoulder season.
