Paro and Thimphu: approximately 8 to 22°C (46 to 72°F). Plan for cool mornings and warmer afternoons; clear skies are not guaranteed.
Punakha: approximately 14 to 27°C (57 to 81°F). Lighter layers can be useful during the day, with something warmer for the evening.
Bumthang: approximately 4 to 18°C (39 to 64°F). Bring warmer layers for early starts. These valley estimates do not describe conditions on high trekking routes.

Travellers who want autumn walks and mountain photography. Prepare for company on popular trails and keep weather-dependent plans flexible.
Caveats
Some of the year's busiest trails. Expect queues at the narrow stairs on the Tiger's Nest route, and plan accommodation early.
