Bhutan weather in November brings mild afternoons and cold mornings. Typical temperatures in Paro and Thimphu range from 3 to 18°C (37–64°F), while Punakha is warmer and Bumthang and Phobjikha can fall below freezing at night. Pack a warm jacket, fleece and base layers, especially for early starts and higher valleys. November also brings the return of black-necked cranes to Phobjikha and the Black-Necked Crane Festival on November 11.
