If you enjoy choosing your own hotels, share your bookings and overnight stops with us. We can arrange a local guide, with a vehicle and driver if needed. If you are unsure where to start, we can suggest a route and help with accommodation too.
Let your guide know when you want to hear more about a place and when you prefer a quiet walk or a slower afternoon. Personal time still needs to fit guiding and site-access requirements. Our independent travel guide explains the practical arrangements.
A quote for one person
Ask for the total for your own trip, including your room arrangements. You will not be splitting a private guide or vehicle with another traveller. Hotels, meals and entry fees depend on what you ask us to arrange; visa and SDF requirements still apply. We record what you handle yourself and confirm the costs before you book.

Questions about travelling on your own
Can I book a Bhutan trip for just one person?
Yes. We can plan a private trip for one traveller with a licensed local guide. You choose your dates and agree the route with us. You do not need to bring a group.
Will I join other travellers?
No. We currently arrange private trips, not join-in departures. Your quote is for your own arrangements and does not depend on finding other travellers to share the trip.
Can I book my own accommodation?
Yes. Choose approved accommodation and share your overnight stops with us. We can arrange your licensed guide, add a vehicle and driver, or help with more of the trip. Your quote records who handles each service.
How much does a solo trip cost?
Request a quote for one traveller with your dates, route and preferred services. A private guide, vehicle and room are not being shared with a second traveller, so do not assume a per-person price based on two people applies. Your quote confirms room occupancy, guiding, transport and any government fees we arrange.
Can I have time to myself while travelling with a guide?
Tell us how much structure and conversation you prefer. We can leave room for quieter stops and personal time within guiding and site-access requirements. Route changes still need to work with driving times, booked hotels, weather and safety requirements.
