Meet your guide at Paro airport and drive about 1.5 hours to Thimphu. Keep the rest of the day free to settle in after the flight.
Overnight Thimphu
Start with a guided meditation session with a monk or meditation teacher, arranged for your dates. Later, join locals walking around the National Memorial Chorten, and visit the traditional medicine institute to learn about Sowa Rigpa, Bhutan's herbal healing tradition. The afternoon is free.
Overnight Thimphu
Cross the Dochula pass, pausing among the 108 chortens if the sky is clear, and drop down to the warmer Punakha valley for three nights. The evening is yours.
Overnight Punakha
A gentle walk through rice fields to Chimi Lhakhang, a small temple on a hill, then lunch at a farmhouse. Spend the afternoon resting or walking by the river.
Overnight Punakha
Walk up through fields to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten for the view over the valley, then visit Punakha Dzong in the quieter late afternoon.
Overnight Punakha
Drive back over Dochula to Paro, around 4 hours. Light a butter lamp at Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest temples, then end the day with a traditional hot stone bath at a farmhouse.
Overnight Paro
Hike to Tiger's Nest without rushing, usually 4–6 hours return, with time to sit quietly at the monastery before walking down.
Overnight Paro
Transfer to Paro airport for your onward flight.

No. You visit temples and meet monks, and you're welcome to take part, but nothing is required. It's a slower way to travel through Bhutan, not a course.
Yes. Tell us what you'd like when you enquire or book, and we'll suggest what can be arranged for your dates and how it changes the price.
Yes. Walks are short and gentle apart from Tiger's Nest, which you can take slowly, ride partway on horseback, or skip for a quieter morning in Paro.
